David Spiegel

Biography
Dr. David Spiegel was raised in Edison, New Jersey, and attended Duke University for college, medical school, and for his orthopaedic surgery residency training. He then completed both a research and a clinical fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 1998. He has been appointed Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children, Banepa, Nepal. He is involved in teaching the residents in orthopaedic surgery from the Kathmandu University post-graduate program.
In 2005, David became an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with a focus on neuromuscular disorders and spinal deformity.
David's current HELP projects include books on Chronic Osteomyelitis, Neglected Hip Sepsis, and a resident manual on Poliomyelitis.
