How You Can HELP
Author A Paper
Global-HELP is always looking for new authors to contribute a new paper, brochure, book, or poster. General guidelines can be found here, and we welcome any inquires at questions@global-help.org.
You can create a new publication in Microsoft Word, by converting an existing Powerpoint presentation -- either of which would include images one has created or already owns -- or any other method best suited for you.
Suggest/Provide A Book For Republication
One of HELP's functions is to find relevant but out-of-print health-care titles from a variety of publishers in order to reproduce them to a wider and appropriate audience. Books such as "McCraw & Arnold's Atlas Of Muscle And Musculocutaneous Flaps" and "Life's Toughest Moments: A Parent's Guide When Facing End Of Life Decisions With Their Child" are the results of finding and reprinting excellent publications.
All reprints are reproduced in full with new introductions of appreciation to the authors and publishers. Any help with securing reprint copyrights would also be greatly appreciated.
If you have any ideas for a publication to reproduce, or have worked on one yourself that would fit HELP's goals, we would very much like to hear from you.
Translate A Publication
HELP has publications in over a dozen languages, growing every day, but we are always on the lookout for those willing to translate an existing HELP title into another language. While we rely on volunteers for the majority of the work, translators receive full credit and a new biography and photograph, and can have their costs reimbursed in special circumstances.
Present A Tip Or Technique
As with Ignacio Ponseti's ever-growing and popular technique for Clubfoot, published here, HELP is also on the lookout for medical practitioners who have found other useful techniques that deserve a wider audience.
HELP is looking for tips or techniques that are useful, particularly remodeling examples, those that could reduce medical costs, as well as any others that are new and could be commonly employed.
Apply For A HELP Scholarship
